USDA GIPSA: there are three vacancies for attorney positions with US Department of Agriculture's Grain Inspection, Packers & Stockyards Administration. The announcements close on March 8, 2010. Applicants must be admitted to the bar of a state, a U.S. Territory, or the District of Columbia. The University of Wisconsin-River Falls: UW-River Falls is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor in the Agricultural Economics Department "with specialization in agribusiness management." According to the announcement, the position is "full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position with partial summer funding for supervising student internships. Start date is August 23, 2010. Iowa State University: The Department of Economics at Iowa State University is looking for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position in agricultural economics "with an emphasis on livestock issues. The position is approximately 65% extension, 20% research, and 15% teaching." The anticipated start date is July 1, 2010. Review of applicants will begin on April 2, 2010. Candidates "should be prepared to attach a letter of application, a curriculum vita, at least one research paper, and evidence of extension and/or teaching effectiveness."
