USDA GIPSA: there are three vacancies for attorney positions with US Department of Agriculture's Grain Inspection, Packers & Stockyards Administration. The announcements close on March 8, 2010. Applicants must be admitted to the bar of a state, a U.S. Territory, or the District of Columbia. The vacancies are in three different locations, so separate applications must be submitted for each location the applicant in which the applicant is interested in applying for.

The University of Wisconsin-River Falls: UW-River Falls is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor in the Agricultural Economics Department "with specialization in agribusiness management." According to the announcement, the position is "full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position with partial summer funding for supervising student internships. Start date is August 23, 2010. Iowa State University: The Department of Economics at Iowa State University is looking for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position in agricultural economics "with an emphasis on livestock issues. The position is approximately 65% extension, 20% research, and 15% teaching." The anticipated start date is July 1, 2010. Review of applicants will begin on April 2, 2010. Applicants must apply using the university's online system, which can be accessed by clicking here. Candidates "should be prepared to attach a letter of application, a curriculum vita, at least one research paper, and evidence of extension and/or teaching effectiveness."
